We have used the Pet Nanny for over a year to watch our two cats. This is a great and reliable service – cats are safe, happy, well cared for. They bring in our mail. We get a call / text on the first visit to let us know that they could get in the house and that there are no issues.

I moved to the area six months ago and didn’t know anyone at first. I asked my vet for a recommendation for a dog walker and they gave me The Pet Nanny’s number. I’ve used them many times since for pet sitting my dog and also walking her when my husband and I go on day trips. Great service!

Since we got our cat Betsy 6 years ago, we’ve had Tess come to feed and play with her twice a day when we take a vacation or have a multi-day hospitalization. It’s good to know we have someone to take care of our little one.

Thanks for having this service for animal parents that need a more personal service rather than a kennel. We never had this luxury with our first dog, we are thankful for your reliability and professionalism. We can leave our Simba knowing he’s being cared for like he would with us.

Tess and Rick are family to our 2 dogs, Parrot and a lot of saltwater fish! We have been with The Pet Nanny since the beginning and wouldn’t have it any other way. The peace of mind I get sitting in my office knowing they are having a potty break, a playmate and a treat is so worth their nominal fee. We have used the overnight service several times over the years while on vacation. In my opinion this is the kindest way to treat your best friends while you’re enjoying yourself. The thought of our pets sitting in a cage in a kennel makes me not want to go anywhere. It has been a perfect solution for our family. I just started using the Pet Nanny for my two older cats…one, a diabetic. Whether I am away for two weeks, or stuck on a train and not able to get home in time for the evening insulin shot, the Pet Nanny is there to care for my cats as if they were her own. My cats give her and some licks, to boot!

Tess, The kids missed our cat terribly while on the cruise. It was a comfort to let them know that he was well cared for by you and that you knew more about taking care of animals than anyone else we knew. Thanks again.

I have been using Tess for 10+ years to watch my cat while I go on vacation. She is wonderful, spends lots of time with my 14 year old cat, Beebles. I get daily updates from her while I am gone to tell me how things are going. I also love that since she was a vet tech she is able to give medicine and shots when I have had to leave my cat while she was sick. I can highly recommend Tess Ross.

We have a very old cockatiel (in his late 20s) who has all the expected “old people’s” physical afflictions. Tess and Rick have taken very good care of him during periods we were away. We are so thankful to have found Tess and her team several years ago. They are just fantastic. We get pictures when we are away so we can see our kittys and read about how they are doing. We can see in the pictures that our kittys are so comfortable with them including the older gal who is not too well and very cranky. Yet she looks totally relaxed. Tess and her team go out of the way to learn what works with each cat. They are also totally professional and show respect for our home. We would highly recommend The Pet Nanny – we have used them twice now to look after our furbabies when we go on vacation. Apart from feeding and cleaning the litterbox they’ll even bring in your mail if you’d like.
One of our cats is nearly 18 so it’s a nice feeling knowing they’re being taken care of. Tess sends us regular updates & photos when she visits. Both our cats can be skittish with strangers but from the photos we can tell they are relaxed and have enjoyed their playtime with Tess.
